Vermont Credits and Deductions
Numerous tax credits are available to the residents of Vermont in addition to deductions. Two of the more popular tax credits available are the Dependent and Child Care Credit and the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC).
The Child and Dependent Care Credit is equal to 24 percent of the federal credit, while the EITC is equal to 32 percent.
